The European Environment Festival Foundation organizes ecological initiatives and training seminars within the framework of the Еuropean Environment Festival “Green Wave – 21st Century”.

• Screening of films from the 5th European Environment Festival “Green Wave - 21st Century”. Entry free! Community Cultural Centre, the Old Renaissance School (9.00 – 20.30 h., 10 – 12 July, 2009);
• Euroekoexpo’09: Ideas of cars, houses, devices, objects, food and other products, produced, designed and generated using environmentally sustainable materials and energy, campus of the Old Renaissance School (10 – 12 July, 2009);
• Round table “Waste management - problems and contemporary solutions in Europe” with the participation of representatives of state and international institutions, scientists, experts, ecologists, journalists and business, the Old Renaissance School (14.00 h., 10 July, 2009);
• Eco Badminton National Competition under the motto “Sport for an ecological world”, organized by the Bulgarian Badminton Federation, campus of the Old Renaissance School Building (13.00 h., 10 July, 2009);
• Seminar for journalists, organized by the “Konrad Adenauer” Foundation, Germany. With the special participation of Manfred Ladwig, the investigating journalist from ARD, European Centre (11 July, 2009);
• Planting trees in the “Green Europe” Festival Park, Koprivstitsa with the kind assistance of the State Forestry Agency and Koprivstitsa Municipality/”Bio Tree - a Green Future”, presentation of Bio Tree LTD. (14.00 h, 11 July, 2009);
• Workshop: “Can you travel 100 km for only 2 leva?” and „Testing of vehicles with electrical engines”, organized by Advertising Factory Ltd., the Old Renaissance School (16.30 h, 11 July, 2009);
• Photo Exhibition „Treasures of the Balkans: three years on the road in Bulgaria and South East Europe” by the German journalist and photographer Dr. Dirk Forger, the Old Renaissance School (10 – 12 July, 2009);
• Exhibition “Digital Nature” of Graphic Prints of the young Macedonian artist Nadica Mitevska, the Old Renaissance School (10 – 12 July, 2009);
• Cycle march “Take your bike: Bikearea in Koprivstitsa”, organized by the Bikearea Association. Start: 10.00 h., Koprivstitsa Municipality (11 – 12 July, 2009);
• Presentation “America through the photography of Wing Huie”, slides and narrative by the celebrated American photographer and Fulbright artist Wing Huie, the Old Renaissance School Building (11.00 h., 12 July, 2009);
